Fishing in Brocéliande

Fishing

The fishing in Brocéliande is sure to be good… as long as you’ve got a fishing licence!

Fishing map

Before you cast your line, beware! Fishing requires a fishing licence! Whether for a day, a week or a year, there are many different cards available to suit your preferences. You can pick up your fishing card at the Tourist Office counter, or consult it online on the official AAPPMA membership website.

A few facts and figures…

The Paimpont community is managed by the Fédération de l’Ille-et-Vilaine pour la pêche et la protection du milieu aquatique (FDAAPPMA) and by the Associations agrées de pêche et de protection du milieu aquatique (AAPPMA).

There are rivers of all sizes here. The smallest streams are populated by trout and salmon, while the largest streams and waterholes are populated by whitefish and predators. As soon as the fishing season opens, you’ll be able to take advantage of the Brocéliande region’s huge hydraulic network, which could, who knows, delight everyone’s taste buds with freshly caught fish.

Attention

Each watercourse and watering place may be subject to specific regulations.

You can consult them at federationpeche.com/35.

Pay attention to fishing opening times! Depending on the fish, the fishing season starts at different times.
