Béatrice Halet - Sévère

Béatrice works the material with a knife, like a sculptor. The style is a mixture of materials worked with a knife, acrylic and natural pigments. The relief and inlay effects are achieved after a long process of superimposing different layers of paint, wiping and scraping. The result is a granite style, both rough and delicate.

The workshop is open by appointment all year round. Béatrice Halet-Sévère is a member of the Collectif d'artistes de Brocéliande, she is also an actor, director and theatre/expression trainer. She gives classes and organises theatre courses for teenagers in Iffendic during the school holidays.
Béatrice takes part in painting on canvas with different techniques: acrylic, pastel, natural pigments, charcoal, hem, and coating. "I work materials with a knife, like a sculptor" she says.
She is also a comedienne, a director and formative theater/expression.
She gives lessons and organizes theater courses for teenagers in Iffendic during school holidays.
