  • This 15th-century manor house is one of the most imposing in the area. It once belonged to the ancient seigneury of La Villeder, which had a right of high justice. It was completely transformed in the 17th century with the construction of the current façade. The new building incorporated the 15th-century tower, the only vestige of the former manor house. It became a classical residence in 1892-1895 following renovation work.

    Open from 1 April to 30 September 2025 on Thursdays (3pm to 6.30pm) and by appointment on Sundays and for groups. Unaccompanied tours of the 4 rooms on the ground floor of the château that are most characteristic of the renovation work carried out between 1892 and 1895. Price: 6€, free for Val d'Oust residents. The park and courtyard are open all year round. The château will also be open for the European Heritage Days on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025 from 2pm to 6.30pm.
