L'Ovinière de l'Hêtre

Established in September 2023, "L'Ovinière de l'Hêtre" is an organic, free-range breeding operation for ewes of the local, hardy breed "Les Landes de Bretagne". This hardy animal can live outdoors all year round, and its wool can be used to make felt. Eléonor Jicquel shears her ewes with traditional scissors and then uses the wool to make clothing and accessories. These products are sold directly from the farm.
Lamb meat is sold in boxes in spring (reservation by e-mail with a 50€ deposit).
Open to the public for groups by reservation. Wool workshops are also available by appointment.
