Cattle have given way to equines, much to the delight of lovers and enthusiasts of this noble animal. They can come and discover this space, which is open to a mix of artistic genres, through performances, exhibitions, concerts and dressage courses. Behind this large-scale project is one man, who decided against all odds to set up this human adventure. Patrick Massé, as you will have gathered, has a determined temperament. Inspired by the Photo Festival guest, he creates a new show every year.
The Théâtre Equestre de Bretagne is open to companies wishing to take up residencies or program their live shows, for one evening or a longer period. It is also a venue for exhibitions, where you can meet painters, sculptors or photographers. If you come to the Théâtre Equestre, don't hesitate to ask the man who runs it: he'll be delighted to show you around his world, and in particular his collection of spurs which he displays in his private museum.
