Montfort Communauté Tourist Office

The Montfort Communauté tourist office is located at Lac de Trémelin, in the commune of Iffendic.
We are here to welcome visitors and residents all year round, and to offer advice on visits and vacations. Our aim is to provide personalized, tailor-made advice. On-site, you’ll find free documentation and a boutique featuring local designers.

The office is open all year round, with a 7/7 reception service in July and August.

The Montfort Communauté tourist office was created in 2006 by the local authority, which set out its missions in its articles of association. It has been set up as a “régie communautaire”, with sole financial autonomy, i.e. with a budget attached to that of Montfort Communauté.

The Tourist Office carries out the following tasks (as laid down by law):

• welcome
• information management
• tourism promotion
• coordination of local tourism players

Our job? Supporting you!

• Promote you on our communication media: annual editions, websites, social networks… locally and throughout Destination Brocéliande.
• Help you develop your business: digital animation, Internet visibility, online booking, marketing…
• Support you in your projects: classification and labeling procedures, information on grants, etc.
• Provide you with reliable, up-to-date information: legislation, statistics, tourist tax, studies, monitoring, etc.

From the outset, the Tourist Office has been committed to a number of qualification processes to optimize its organization, raise its profile and strengthen its recognition, all with a view to professionalizing and raising the profile of the region.

Qualité Tourisme brand

Qualité Tourisme™ is a brand that federates the rigorous quality processes undertaken by tourism professionals whose objective is service quality for customer satisfaction. It is a guarantee of confidence for customers and professionals alike. Montfort Communauté Tourist Office has held the Qualité Tourisme mark since July 2011. The mark was renewed on April 4, 2015 and again in April 2019. It will be renewed in June 2024.

Classification of tourist offices

A tourist office, whose mission is to welcome, inform and promote tourists, as well as organize socio-professional activities, is an organization set up by a local authority, which can be classified in one of three categories, depending on the missions it fulfills. The Montfort Communauté tourist office has been classified in 1st category since June 2013. This was renewed in 2018.
