Enjoy swimming at Lac de Trémelin

Looking for a summer getaway close to nature without having to travel long distances? Then Lac de Trémelin is the place for you, in the heart of natural surroundings, between pine trees and verdant forests…

When the fine weather arrives, the Lac de Trémelin beach becomes the perfect place for a relaxing day outwith the family, with the chance to enjoy the fresh water. With a water temperature of around 20°C, it’s the perfect time for a relaxing swim. Jumping and diving enthusiasts can also challenge themselves from the pontoon!

To make the most of the beach, there are a few rules to observe: During July and August, bathing is supervised every day. Outside this period, swimming is not permitted. For safety reasons, private boats are not allowed on the lake.

Safety and accessibility for all

The resort proudly boasts the ” Station Verte ” and ” Pavillon Bleu ” labels. This symbolizes a commitment to environmental quality and preservation.

A visit to a Blue Flag beach offers several advantages:

• A safe, supervised area accessible to all.
• Ecological facilities promoting responsible tourism, such as selective sorting and environmentally-friendly sanitary facilities.
• Valuable information on water quality, local biodiversity and recreational activities for all ages.

To make this aquatic space even more inclusive, since 2023, the beach and bathing area have been accessible to people with reduced mobility, thanks to the provision of a floating wheelchair free of charge.

Swimming safety and supervision are provided by lifeguards from Prestalis, every afternoon in July and August, from 1:30 pm to 7 pm.

Throughout the season,water analyses are carried out in collaboration with the Agence Régionale de Santé, guaranteeing an environment conducive to relaxation and leisure in complete tranquillity. Water and cyanobacteria analyses are carried out every week throughout the summer, when the bathing area is open.

Refreshing lakeside activities

If the beach gets too stuffy, don’t worry! There’s nothing like a stroll around the lake (5 km) in the shade of the trees to cool you down quickly. You can also enjoy a delicious ice cream at the snack bar.

And if you’re in the mood for entertainment, there ‘s no shortage of options:

• A game of pétanque, beach volleyball, Mölkky or table tennis.
• Rent a pedal boat or canoe.
• A tree climbing course.
• An art exhibition to visit
• A pony or horse ride…

Whatever your preferences, the lake offers a variety of activities suitable for the whole family, ensuring moments of relaxation and pleasure in the heart of a preserved natural environment.
