Brittany from Saint-Méen-le-Grand

Your day out cycling around Saint-Méen Montauban

The ideal homeland for all cycling enthusiasts, here you are in the birthplace of champions such as Louison Bobet, Francis Pipelin and Frédéric Guesdon. Fans of bicycles will find everything they need in this land of bike tourism!

A land of cycle tourism

The Saint-Méen Montauban community of communes is at the heart of Brittany’s network of cycle routes and greenways. At the crossroads of two of Brittany’s main greenways (V3 and V6), saddle up and ride through Brittany from St-Malo to the Rhuys peninsula, or from Saint-Méen-le-Grand to Carhaix.

On greenways or shared roads, you’ll enjoy over 120 km of safe cycling itineraries.

  • From Saint-Méen, on the V6, set off on 128 km of safe greenways. You’ll discover inland Brittany, gentle and mysterious, with its Monts d’Arrée, Lac de Guerlédan and the famous Arthurian sites of Brocéliande…

  • The V3 will take you as far as the sea and the corsair city of Saint-Malo to the north, or the prequ’île de Rhuys to the south. Over 212 km, you’ll discover the breathtaking sites of the English Channel and the ocean, including Saint-Méen-le-Grand.
